The AxleTech PSC1764 planetary steerable axle has an axle capacity of up to 55,000 lbs (24,900 kg) in RT cranes. This axle covers a broad range of demanding vocational applications, and the actual capacity will depend on the specific vocation.
DCDL (driver-controlled differential lock) and NoSPIN® differential options are also available for improved traction vocational requirements.
A standard input pinion unitized seal reduces the likelihood of oil leaks.
Permanently lubricated steering axle shafts are standard.
Optional extra axle housing magnets.
Wheel-mounted single or dual 4-piston hydraulic caliper/wheel end dry disc is standard.
