Precautions for Starting the Oil Pump:
1. Before starting the oil pump, first fill the pump body with clean hydraulic oil until it is completely full.
2. Verify that the pump’s rotation direction matches the rotation direction arrow indicated on the motor.
3. During initial after prolonged shutdown, the pump may experience suction difficulties. Install a bleed valve at the pump outlet or loosen the outlet pipe fitting to expel air. Initiate in short bursts under no-load conditions whenever possible.
4. Air ingress within the pump or piping causes noise and vibration. During startup, repeatedly start and stop the pump with its outlet unloaded to expel trapped air.
5. For servo motor-driven pumps: First adjust the motor to low speed via the servo drive (switch from pressure mode to speed mode). Run the motor at low speed for 3-5 minutes to purge air. Once pump noise returns to normal, switch back to pressure mode.
